Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino recently presented a citation to Syosset High School Junior Ellie Hooey, in honor of her commitment to help better the community. Hooey organized a Yoga Charity Event whose proceeds benefited Good+, an organization that helps break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated goods and transformational services. Saladino proudly joined Hooey, her family and friends, as well as a few of the many who joined in making a difference at the event.
