Back To School Sales

The Jericho area is a highly desirable section of Long Island, with ample shopping opportunities, a strong school district and abundant amenities. For these reasons, Jericho continues to garner considerable real estate attention, including a recent sale in late August.

This week, the Syosset-Jericho Tribune features a farm ranch-style home at 54 Ivy Dr. in the East Birchwood section of the Jericho school district. It recently sold for $824,000 and features five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and nine total rooms on a 11,195-square-foot lot. Built in 1960, this home has an eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, full unfinished basement, living room with a fireplace and a private yard with patio space. Homeowners pay $16,200 in taxes.
