The Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. The shelter is at 150 Miller Pl., Syosset. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Call 516-677-5784 and refer to the number affiliated with each animal.

It’s heartbreaking when cats who once had homes suddenly lose everything they counted on—food, shelter and people to love them. Jack is getting all of that now, but he needs to find someone who can promise him that he won’t be homeless ever again.
