The Jericho and Syosset school districts made it to the head of the class, yet again.

Three of the district’s elementary schools placed in the top four elementary schools in the country, based on rankings by Niche, a research site that rates schools based on community reviews, opinions and hard data.

George A. Jackson School topped off the list at no. 1 in both the state and the nation, indicating that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences. With 376 students in grades K-5, 95 percent of the students are considered proficient in math and a 92 percent reading proficiency.

Coming in at no. 2 in the country and in the state was Robert Seaman Elementary School. Meanwhile, Cantiague Elementary School placed fourth in the country and third in the state.

In the Syosset School District, all seven elementary schools were ranked among the top 100 elementary schools in the state. South Grove Elementary school ranked highest at no. 24, no. 62 in the country, followed by Village at no 26, no. 68 in the country, Baylis at no. 32, Robbins Lane at no. 42, Berry Hill, no. 44, Willits at no. 47 and Walt Whitman at no. 59.
