Cops Hunt Assault Suspects

Cops are investigating an assault and robbery in Bethpage on April 18.

According to detectives, a 26-year-old male was walking south on South Oyster Bay Road near the intersection of Stewart Avenue when he was approached by two black males ages 17-25. The suspects began punching the victim and took a gold chain from around his neck before fleeing on foot, cops say.

The victim got a ride to a nearby hospital and was treated for lacerations to his head and face.
