Police are looking for this individual in connection with an attempted robbery at a mosque.

According to detectives, an unknown male suspect entered the Masjid Bilal Mosque, 425 Fulton St. in Farmingdale, through an unlocked rear window and attempted to snatch two donation boxes mounted into a wall. The suspect’s image was captured in surveillance footage.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, standing approximately 5’10″, weighing 180 pounds, wearing dark jeans, a dark hooded jacket and work boots. After failing to steal the donation boxes, the suspect left the scene through a glass door.
