Syosset Resident Nabs New Post

Veteran banking executive Susanne Pheffer, a Syosset resident, has been named Empire National Bank’s chief technology officer/senior vice president.

“With more than 25 years of industry experience and expertise in community banking and the technology sector, Susanne is a welcome addition to our management team,” said Empire National Bank’s chairman and Chief Executive Officer Douglas Manditch.

“I look forward to working with Empire National’s talented team of men and women in my new role at the bank,” said Pheffer.

Pheffer started her career at State Bank of Long Island. Her positions there included finance manager, assistant vice president, vice president/acting controller and senior vice president/chief information officer. For the last seven years she served as director of operations at Kenneth J. Soles & Associates, a consulting company serving the financial industry.

A Syosset resident, she earned a BA in computer science and corporate finance and an MS degree in corporate finance from Adelphi University.
