Being Thankful In Syosset

South Grove Elementary hosted their annual Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The children enjoyed a wonderful meal with all of the fixings—each class made a different deliThanks2014.2cious side dish that they enjoyed with their distinguished guests.

Members of the Syosset Fire Department and Police Department sat at the dais, as well as a World War II veteran who has been attending the South Grove Feast for years. The highlight of the party was when the children performed Thanksgiving songs and dances, led by South Grove’s music teacher Dr. Conklin.
