A Home Depot in Syosset was the sight of a long term grand larceny, according to investigators.

Police said that beginning in May 2014 and continuing through July 2014, Syosset Home Depot employee Roneil Harisaran, 44, of Roslyn, aided Praimchand Seecharan, 46, of Richmond Hill, Queens, in stealing merchandise from the store multiple times.

According to detectives, after receiving $500 from Seecharan, Harisaran purposely neglected to ring up items brought to the check out by Seecharan. An internal store investigation disclosed the incidents resulted in a total of $4,000 in lost merchandise.
