TOBAY Homeowners Cleanup Day

ewasteTown of Oyster Bay homeowners in the solid waste disposal district may get rid of accumulated non-hazardous debris on Saturday, July 12 at the Town of Oyster Bay Solid Waste Disposal Complex, 101 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Rd., Old Bethpage, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Passenger cars, vans, pickup trucks and small trailers are admitted to the program. Six-wheel or larger vehicles are not permitted. 

Residents are encouraged to include large metal items, yard waste and clean broken concrete, all of which will be recycled. Please pre-separate these items for disposal in separate locations at the site.

Campers, boats and boat trailers are also accepted. Proof of ownership must be provided and signed over to the Town. Campers and boats must be drained of all oil, gas and other fluids, and all batteries must be removed.

E-waste will also be accepted.

Hazardous waste will not be accepted.
