A Wyandanch woman was arrested in Syosset on March 24 after police discovered a gun and fake money in her vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
Police say they pulled over 33-year-old Jennifer Mitchell on Miller Place at 7:10 p.m. when they noticed her vehicle didn’t have a front license plate.
Officers then discovered Mitchell was had a suspended registration and was in possession of 76 fraudulent $10 bills and a loaded shotgun in the trunk of the car.
Mitchell is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, loaded shotgun in vehicle and several vehicle and traffic law violations.
