Syosset Bank Robbed, Suspect Sought

bankPolice are looking for the man who robbed a Syosset bank on Feb. 24.

At 2:10 p.m., police say a white man entered the Bank of America at 378 Jericho Turnpike and made a verbal demand to a female teller, while displaying what appeared to be the end of a handgun.

The man, who fled with an unknown amount of cash, is described as being 5’10” to 6’0, in his mid 40s and wearing a dark winter cap, blue jacket, brown hooded sweatshirt and jeans. 

There were 10 employees and four customers in the bank at the time of the incident. There were no injuries reported.
