A Flushing man was arrested Feb. 5 for allegedly stealing items from the men’s locker room at Brookville’s LIU Post in January.
Police say on Jan. 1 at 1:58 p.m. 20-year-old Dasheen Simpkins was attending a basketball game at the college when he was observed on video surveillance entering the visiting team’s locker room.
A subsequent investigation determined Simpkins removed four cell phones and two cell phone cases from the players and coach of the visiting men’s basketball team, according to police.
Simpkins was arrested and charged with grand larceny and four counts of petit larceny.
