Up To 8 Inches Of Snow Expected

snowIt looked like Malverne Mel got it right Sunday predicting an early spring with temperatures hitting 50 degrees earlier in the day. But with up to 8 inches of snow blanketing Long Island, Punxsutawney Phil and his shadow might just have the last laugh.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning for Long Island through 7 p.m. on Monday. 

Accumulations of 6 to 8 inches are possible.
