Arrests In Local Burglary


Three individuals were arrested last week for a Plainview burglary, cops said.
According to detectives, police officers responded to an alarm at Ace Motorsports on Old Country Road on May 9 at about 2 a.m. and found the front door smashed in. Police said a search of the area led to the arrests of Christopher Webb, 20, Angel Irizarry, 18, and Andrew Schneider, 18, in connection with the burglary.

Authorities recovered a digital camera, an undisclosed amount of cash and car keys, all belonging to the auto shop. A backpack containing burglary tools were also recovered from the defendants, cops said.

All three defendants are each charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession stolen property and possession of burglar tools. They were arraigned on May 10 in First District Court in Hempstead.
